Tips for Parents and Teachers
Visual aid: Share pictures that relates with the lesson with children, the picture will make the children connect with the lesson emotionally.
Keep It Simple: Describing the story using short sentences and concrete examples.
Reinforce at Home: Send home a coloring page or worksheet of the memory verse.
Encourage parents to discuss lesson during the week and to practice sharing as a family.
The privilege of being parents and Sabbath School teachers is to plant those seeds in young hearts. As we share with these kindergarten children the love of Jesus and the blessing of giving, we are guiding them as they grow in becoming compassionate, Christ-centered people-no deed of human kindness, if done out of love, is insignificant, and that we can learn this week.
