2023 World Adventurer Day is here and I am thrilled that we can celebrate being an Adventurer on this special day.

The Adventurer program has been created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teachers and evangelizers. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas. Through the Adventurer. Through the Adventurer Program, the church, home, and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child.

The Objective of the Adventurer Club is to provides fun and creative ways for children…

  1. to develop a Christ-like character,
  2. to experience the joy and satisfaction of doing things well;
  3. to express their love for Jesus in a natural way;
  4. to learn good sportsmanship and strengthen their ability to get along with others;
  5. to discover their God-given abilities and to know how to use them to benefit self
    and serve others;

Babcock University High School Admission Requirements (BUHS)

  • Candidates seeking admission into JS 1 must not be less than 10yrs by September of each admission year.
  • Intending candidates must be successful in both the entrance examination and interview.
  • The school determines the acceptable cut-off grade for admission yearly.
  • International candidates seeking admission to the school must have completed the equivalence of the primary school Leaving
  • Certificate for admission into JS 1
  • Entrance examination are conducted yearly in May.
  • Students are tested in Mathematics, English Language and General Paper which consists of Social Studies, Basic Science, Basic
  • Technology, CRS, Computer Studies, Agricultural Science, Creative Art etc. Please consult past questions for more details.
  • Entrance Examination is also conducted yearly for candidates seeking admission into JS 2 and SS 1.
  • Admission shall until further notice be by entrance examination and interview only.
  • Purchase of the admission form is at the rate of N7, 000.00 using Verve Card, Master Card or Visa Card

Candidates for interview should come with the following materials;

  • Examination slip
  • Receipt/Teller for the purchase of application pin card
  • Last/Previous school result collected
  • Testimonial from past school attended
  • Two passport photograph

Successful candidates for interview would be given admission letter by hand and other documents are to be downloaded online, filled and returned back to the student’s affairs unit for the candidate to be allocated a class and hostel accommodation

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programs:
5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or their equivalent (at not more than 2 sittings); one sitting only for Medicine.
Candidates below 15 years of age are advised not to apply.

CANDIDATES AWAITING WAEC/NECO/SSCE RESULTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS BEFORE MATRICULATION.

Department of Accounting

Degree Offered: B.Sc. (Hons) Accounting
Requirements: 5 credits in English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other two relevant subjects.
Direct Entry:
Holders of OND/HND/ACA/ACCA/ICMA/ATS passed with Upper credit, in addition to 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at O’Level are eligible to apply for Direct Entry

NOTE: A pass in Economics may be considered provided the candidate has a credit in Accounting or Commerce.
One Year Professional Training: All BSc Accounting students may after completion enroll for one year into the professional class to sit for ACA/ACCA/CITN/CIMA Certification Examinations. Such students should have been processed for exemptions under MOU with various professional bodies after their BSc Certification at the end of the fourth year.
Internship: All ACCA registered students will be attached to some designated companies for practical experience during long holidays from 100 Level to 400 Level as part of the MOU with ACCA. In a situation where we have insufficient places for our students, students will be given letter to companies of their choice for attachment.

2.) Agronomy & Landscape Design (5-year Program)

Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into the school of nursing science Program for bachelor of nursing sciences degree must satisfy the minimum university requirements for admission to the degree Program which includes an acceptable pass at the university Identity and Document Verification.

They must in addition to the above, have minimum of credit (C) level passes at the senior secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in five subjects, at not more than two sittings, which must include English language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Registered Nurses (RN) with credit level passes in the SSCE subject as listed above may be admitted by Direct Entry into 200 level provided they satisfy other University admission requirements.
